Wouldn’t life be so much easier if we did not have to face so many storms? It’s during times of “STORMS” that God answers prayer, picks us up, meets our needs, reconciles a relationship, strengenths our trust…. “STORMS” in our life, draws us closer to the one who controls the storm, allowing him alone to receive Glory!
After 10 Plagues–Pharoah was more than happy to help them leave Egypt.
Now these Israelites will start their journey to the Promised Land & will face their first obstacle witnessing
“The Red Sea Miracle”
Only God knows our future & He’s not telling us!
1. If God told us, we would not understand…(Deut. 29; The secret things belong to the Lord.)
2. If we knew the future..it would make most of us lazy & arrogant.
3. If we knew our future…it would mostlikely destroy our faith!

God uses folks that everybody else gave up on…God blesses folks no one else would bless…God saves folks who no one else would save.
The Nation of Egypt lays in ruins…the successive series of plagues have taken it’s toil. For 400 years the Jews have been exploited by cruel taskmasters & forced to live in harsh difficult conditions, being held against their will as slaves.
God devises a plan that will cause Pharoah to beg the Jews to leave Egypt.
“Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice!”
In our time of trails….a pastor, parent, neighbor, teacher, or friend can’t always be there for us….but God can,,,& God will…But God sticketh closer than a brother. We can find shelter from the storms of life under the watchful eye of our Saviour.
When we read the account of the ancient plagues, they go against the grain of modern thinking, some say that can’t be true, maybe it’s a fable, or a fairy tale; but it don’t matter cause it couldn’t happen today….Really?
The tribulation period will parallel these plagues & Judgments, according to the Book of Revelation!
When there seems to be no way…the Lord makes a way! He alone is the “way-maker”.
Have you ever thought that there was no way out…no way around…no way through…no way you can survive…Isiaah 43 “Behold I will do a new thing. I will make a way in the wilderness & rivers in the desert. Only our WAY-MAKER can do the thing He does!
The Battle of the Gods
When we as God’s Children are faced with a situation, struggle, or sickness ..we shouldn’t whine about it! Our battles are the Lords, not ours. Lean on Him! Trust in Him! Call out to Him! We are to walk in His Strength & Power.
The 10 Plagues in Exodus are God’s answers to False Idol Worshippers.
Decisive Judgment & Devastation.
We have to be careful not to pre-judge someone, when we’ve not walked their journey. Everyone has a story, & maybe their story is the reason they are where they they are? Our Prayer should be “Lord help me not to judge.”, but to reach out to listen, & remind us….
There is hope for everyone in Christ.
The 10 Plagues in Exodus are unlike anything that has ever happened before. We read the ancient plague stories & think it must be a fable, or a parable, surely it can’t be real. What God does in Exodus He will do again, only next time it will be worldwide.

Seven days without God makes one week!!
